Despite global efforts to develop and promote health for mothers and babies, too many continue to die in rates that reveal significant inequalities across and within nations. Agarwal will report on the work she directs in 27 countries through the United States Agency for International Development’s flagship Maternal and Child Survival Program to address inequities and increase coverage and utilization of high-quality reproductive, maternal, newborn and child heath interventions.
