Baltimore Dance Project brings its edgy artistic collaborations between choreographers, composers, sound artists, visual artists, engineers, and technologists to the stage at UMBC. The company — now under the collective leadership of Ann Sofie Clemmensen, Carol Hess, Shaness Kemp, and Sandra Lacy — will present new and repertory works including Kemp’s hEATed: MY place, recently selected for the 37th Annual Choreographer Showcase. The program also includes solo and group works by Hess and Lacy, and Clemmensen’s Placed in Here, featuring guest artist Tim Bendernagel. Guest artists LucidBeing Dance, under the direction of UMBC faculty member Franki Graham, will perform their new work Biosphere.
Tickets: $20 general admission; $10 with UMBC ID. Tickets available online. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office one hour prior to showtime.

UMBC is located about 10 minutes south of the Inner Harbor along I-95. For this event, free visitor parking is available in Lot 8, directly adjacent to the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, where the entrance to the Proscenium Theatre is located on the ground floor.
