Celebration of the Life of William T. Brown

On September 19, 2016, the UMBC Theatre community lost a family member, Professor Emeritus William “Bill” T. Brown. Professor Brown was a well-known and highly respected figure in Maryland and Washington D.C. theatre, and designed and directed more than 150 productions. In 1970, he became a founding member of the theatre department at UMBC and served as department chair for 18 years.
