Claudia Strauss examines the life narratives of first-generation Latin American and Asian immigrants in the United Sates, looking at their feelings of success and frustration and their understandings of the American Dream in the wake of the Great Recession at the end of the first decade of the 21st century.


Admission is free, and a reception will follow the talk.
